Old murals

Admittedly, not the best resolution, but these are images I dug out from old photos of a mural I did years ago that hangs in the Helmand restaurant in Baltimore. 20' of watercolor. Not sure what I was thinking. Each panel of watercolor color was first stretched then remounted onto Tycore, an archival heavy-duty lightweight board. One of these days, I'll get back to Baltimore to re-shoot the panels with a solid lens.

  1. Wow, Amal! That's a lot of watercolor! It turned out beautifully.

  2. You should definitely re-shoot them, they seem gorgeous!Full of details but structured at the same time, interesting to look at and try to understand it. and it's sad we cannot see the details and colors like we should :)
(thank you for your comment on my blog ;))
